A Big First for Leyton

Leyton has his first loose tooth! Bottom, center. It was barely loose last week at the dentist, but I am surprised how quickly it's become quite loose! Don't know for sure when he'll lose it, but I'm sure it'll be sooner than I'll be prepared for the change!

He Shoots, He Scores!

...and Mom missed it! Yes, Leyton made his first goal yesterday in their soccer game and I wasn't there to see it. As Patrick said, "You missed the first goal in Robinson family history!" Oh well, it was for good reason. Leah was a bit under the weather (we now know...her first ear infection) and it was a bit cold. I stayed home with Leah, Jacob, & Anne and Patrick took Leyton & Nathaniel to their game. Leyton was pretty excited.

Nathaniel was excited, too, though. He got his new sports goggles (different glasses) and they have transition lenses. He was pretty much happy with just seeing that his glasses turn into sunglasses.

It was a good day for soccer.

Cute Girls

We had some pictures taken today: Leah's 2-year, Anne's 3-month. I'm totally biased, but I think they're pretty cute!

Laundry Question

At what point can/do you simply use Spray & Wash as your detergent? I sure feel like I could pour a whole cup of that stuff in each load around here!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Leah!

We had a great day today celebrating Miss Leah's birthday. Hard to believe she's a little two-year-old already. What a cutie and quite a tough little girl. She's definitely made of sugar and spice, but sure sneaks in some snails and puppy dog tails to fit in with the boys. She's talking more everyday, she's very strong-willed and knows what she wants, she's such a sweet cuddly girl, and she definitely has figured out the value of the word 'more'. We sure love her.

We spent the day at home, mostly. Went to mass, came home and I made a shrimp scampi lunch followed by Care Bear cake and ice cream. Grandpa Jerry was in town so he joined us for lunch as did Uncle Robert & Aunt Beth. It was a nice day. She enjoyed the gifts she received including new dresses (yeah!), new shirts, Little People Noah's Ark, a toy purse, new mittens, new nightgown, unbreakable tea set, and lots of fun. I was able to get a few pictures so I'll have to upload those soon.

The Big Boys Update

Well, school has been in session for a little while now, and the first quarter ends at the end of next week. They are really loving kindergarten and having a lot of fun. It is so cute to hear their stories and talk about what they did at school. They really seem to be growing up fast! They're also handling the full day very well. I think they like the fun stuff they do in the afternoon - keeps school having the attitude that it's fun and not too much work. They also have a great routine on the days they have their little worksheet to do (takes about 1-2 minutes).

One of my favorite things lately has been their song from music. I just caught them singing it one day and it was the sweetest thing...

It even has very cute actions. They can sure make my heart melt!

Leah Learning by Example

This week I was working on the dreaded changing seasonal clothes out of the boys' room & needed to figure out what, if anything, we'd need for them this fall/winter. So I had some good size piles of clothes organized in their room. And, my little princess, thought she'd assist. I went to see what see what she was doing in her room, and low and behold, she had taken every last piece of clothing, socks, etc. out of her dresser and they were strewn all over her floor. I figured she pretty much did what she thought I was doing. What a great helper! Ha. I still need to finish picking hers up...especially the summer stuff that I can now pack away.
